Carrie Underwood on 'Today'

Is Carrie Underwood thinking about adding some goats to her family’s farm?

If her latest social media post is any indication, it’s very possible. On Friday, March 1, the “Before He Cheats” singer said on Instagram that she had “the BEST day” visiting Noble Springs Dairy Farm, a family-owned goat dairy business in Franklin, Tenn.

Underwood, 40, shared seven precious photos and one video showing young goats wagging their tails as they curiously inspected a hand stretching into their pen.

“We had baby goat cuddles, made some new friends and even got to ask alllllll kinds of questions about goats, milking and cheese making,” Underwood wrote.

She gave the dairy farm an extra plug, recommending that her followers visit with their families if they find themselves nearby. “And, of course,” she added, “don’t forget to check out all the yummy cheese!!!”

In addition to the adorable video she shared, Underwood posted several photos showing close-ups of their cute faces. She posed while holding a baby goat in three images, two of which showed the American Idol alum with a big smile on her face.

Several of Underwood’s followers gushed over the photos, commenting that the goats looked “so cute.” Some wondered if Underwood’s visit to the dairy farm meant she had plans to launch her own small goat dairy operation.

“So real question is when are you getting a milking goat,” one fan asked while others offered humorous warnings about some of the animals’ less adorable tendencies.

“Awww they’re cute until they chew off the tails of your horses before show season,” one Instagram user joked.

Underwood and her husband, former NFL player Mike Fisher, share a 400-acre farm in Tennessee, where they live with their two young sons, Isaiah and Jacob. Underwood’s visit to the goat dairy came just a few days after she cooed over her family's latest “new additions”: eight fuzzy baby chicks.
