Carrie Underwood isn’t letting the extremely weird year that is 2020 stop her from spreading some holiday cheer.

The singer’s new Christmas special, My Gift, is now streaming on HBO Max and, of course, it’s filled with many, many joyous songs of the season—and one very special guest star. The singer’s oldest son, Isaiah, makes his official debut singing with Mom on the show.

“So happy we captured the sweetest voice in this special moment in time. My own Little Drummer Boy will be a part of the #MyGift Christmas Special beginning this Thursday on @hbomax!” she wrote on Instagram next to a photo of the two in the studio together. Spoiler alert: It is very cute!

Isaiah joined his mom on the song “The Little Drummer Boy”—a highly appropriate choice if ever we’ve heard one. “Thinking about what would make it special, I have a very special duet partner, my son Isaiah. He loves to sing,” she told USA Today. “I just thought his sweet little voice would sound perfect.” But Carrie Underwood also wanted to be a protective mom, which is why Isaiah isn’t performing live with his mom.

“I didn’t, like, want to put him on stage,” she told Hoda Kotb and Savannah Guthrie on the Today show. “I felt like that might be a little much for his heart to handle. But he had such a great time in the studio and that was such a memory for me, to have that captured on film, and to be a part of the special in that way is just a sweet, timeless moment that I’m so blessed that I get to have, selfishly, for the rest of my life. I hope people see it and are like, ‘Oh, my gosh, his little heart!’”

Um, we think they will, Carrie. We think they will.
