Now that’s a true Hollywood romance. Carrie Underwood was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Thursday, September 20, and she wasted no time thanking those who had helped her get to where she is today, most notably husband Mike Fisher.

“I met an incredible man, Mike, who thinks I’m so much better than I actually am,” she said, according to People. “Thank you for believing in me as a human, as a wife, as a mom, and supporting me through all of this. He believes in me and we had another little man who believes in me too.”

Here, the 35-year-old singer turned to the couple’s three-and-a-half-year-old son, Isaiah. “Isaiah Michael, I love you so much,” she said. “You’re the best thing we ever did. I love you and I believe you.”

The American Idol alum is currently pregnant with the pair’s second child, who is due later this year. (Though Underwood and Fisher, 38, know the gender of the baby, they’re currently refraining from revealing whether they’re expecting a girl or boy, she told Ellen DeGeneres Wednesday).

Underwood wasn’t the only one with kind words Thursday, however. Her Idol mentor Simon Cowell and good friend (and CMA co-host) Brad Paisley were also on hand to share their own praise—this time, however, for Underwood herself.

“Carrie Underwood is, in many ways, this generation’s Dolly Parton as Ms. Country Music,” Paisley said of his longtime pal. “I don’t think we could ask for a better ambassador. I don’t think there’s anything she can’t do.”

The country singer playfully added, “I can’t wait to see everything you do from here. I think of the artists that’ll be in here at Capitol Records that are going to walk out here one night drunk and throw up on the star of one of the most important artists we will ever have in our format.”

Underwood has been having something of a landmark year: in addition to welcoming a little bundle of joy later this year, she’s set to host the CMA Awards for the 11th time on November 14, and will kick off her tour following a brief maternity break next May.
