Carrie Underwood does indeed have kids with her husband Mike Fisher. Underwood has two sons, Isaiah Michael, born in 2015, and Jacob Bryan, born in 2019.

Underwood has previously opened up about how she makes room in her incredibly busy life for her family. "I remember when we first found out we were gonna have him [Isaiah], it [was] like, 'How are we gonna do this? Our lives are so crazy as it is.’ But you just make room, and you learn how important that family time is, and to be able to spend time and carve out some of that and maybe get to go on vacation and maybe get to go on a cruise—that stuff is so important to, like I said, make time for family. When we recorded, I was able to be in the booth with him and encourage him and try to remind him what words were coming up next, things like that. I got to listen to his vocals [get] put together and then listening to myself with him. I was laughing, and I was crying, and it was just very overwhelming in a good way. It's just very emotional."

Underwood’s youngest, Jacob, was born on Jan. 21, 2019, also in Tennessee. The singer struggled prior to the birth of her second child, enduring three miscarriages in the process of trying to grow her family.

As a result, she refers to her youngest as her miracle baby, seen in a caption on the star’s Instagram post marking his first birthday. "Happy birthday, Jacob! How are you already 1 year old? You are smiley, crazy, smart, soooo fast and into everything! And, apparently, you love cake! I can't wait to see your personality continue to shine! I have a good feeling you're going to keep us all on our toes for years to come!" The caption continues, "I thank God for you each and every day. You are truly our miracle baby!!! Mommy loves you! "Mike was away just for the evening, and I texted him, and I was like, 'I don't really want to be alone, so I'm just gonna go snuggle with [her first child] Isaiah.’ And I don't know how I didn't wake him up, but I was just sobbing," she recalled. "And I was like, 'Why on Earth do I keep getting pregnant if I can't have a kid? Like, what is this? Shut the door. Like, do something. Either shut the door or let me have a kid.'"

Following the birth of her first child, Isaiah, in 2015, Carrie Underwood and her husband Mike Fisher decided to add to their family. However, things did not go as planned as the singer revealed later she suffered three miscarriages.

The country star has revealed the timing of these losses. “I'd kind of planned that 2017 was, you know, going to be the year that I work on new music, and I have a baby. We got pregnant early 2017, and [it] didn't work out. In the beginning, it was like, 'Okay, God, we know this is, just wasn't Your timing. And that is all right. We will bounce back and figure our way through it,'" she said. "And I got pregnant again in the spring [of 2017], and it didn't work out. Got pregnant again, early 2018. Didn't work out. So, at that point, it was just kind of like, 'Okay, like, what's the deal? What is all of this?’”

Lucky for the American Idol alum, she and Fisher were able to welcome their youngest child Jacob in early 2019.
