Carrie Underwood surprised her fans big time by announcing her show MY SAVIOR: LIVE FROM THE RYMAN will be released on DVD on July 23.

The concert, which Carrie performed exclusively on Facebook during Easter Sunday this year, features gospel hymns from her album My Savior. The virtual concert also featured award-winning singer CeCe Winans, as well as Bear Rinehart of the band NEEDTOBREATHE.

Back in January, Carrie released a trailer for her album and said that creating it had been a dream of hers. "This is legacy stuff to me. I feel like at the heart of it all is an album like this one." Songs on the album include: “How Great Thou Art,” “Amazing Grace,” and “Just As I Am."

Fans were ecstatic about the news, especially since the concert on Facebook was only available for 48 hours, meaning people haven't been able to see it since April. "Oh, I'll be getting this," one person said. "Go queen go," said another. "Amazing," one person simply wrote.

Others sent notes asking Carrie to release more shows on DVD, especially her Cry Pretty Tour, which took place in 2019. "Can we also get a Cry Pretty tour DVD/ streaming download too?" someone asked in the comments section. "2 in 1 Cry pretty concert plz," said another.

Maybe Carrie will take her fans' pleads to heart and we'll get a new concert DVD soon!
