Okay, so we've got good news and bad news for ya! Let's start with the good, shall we?

Everyone is probably well aware of Carrie Underwood and the stellar year she had in 2022. Between her successful Las Vegas residency, show-stopping performances at the Opry, hitting the Coachella stage with Guns N' Roses, shutting down the Grammys, and just being a complete boss, it's clear that Carrie's not showing any signs of slowing down soon.

The American Idol alum is already getting the ball rolling and made a special announcement on Instagram alluding to what's in store.

In the post, Carrie announced the anticipated second leg of her Denim & Rhinestones Tour kicking off in February. With 26 brand-new shows on the roster, fans are in for a whirlwind set of performances. With back-to-back shows, Carrie's going to be mighty busy until March 17th.

Following the announcement, fans bombarded the "Ghost Story" singer's fans ran to the comment section to say, "Can’t wait 👏😍," "See u in Philly. Gonna be a good one !!!!!!!" and "See you in Columbus! 👏🏻".

With all the excitement, it's hard to see how there's any possibility of bad news, right? Wrong...

Carrie's announcement was received well by American fans, but it left Canadian fans feeling not so thrilled. Our neighbors north of the border were devastated to learn that the Denim & Rhinestones Tour is exclusively staying in the states. Let's just say, they didn't take it lightly and left comments under the singer's post like:

  • "Still no Canadian dates??😢😢"

  • "Please come to Canada!!!"

  • "Canada????? What is happening here??"

  • "I have a feeling all you're going to do is the us for this tour but I’m keeping my fingers crossed that you’ll announce a Canadian tour"

Just from seeing her behind-the-scenes posts from the Last Vegas residency and getting a taste of what her live shows are really like during award shows, we can understand the frustration. After all, who wouldn't want to witness "Crazy Angels" and "Pink Champagne" live?!
