You may not be familiar with the name Daisy Ridley now, but that’s about to change: The British actress, 23, plays lead character Rey in the news Star Wars film, The Force Awakens, out December 18.

Carrie Fisher, who reprises her role of Princess Leia in the film, spoke with Ridley for the upcoming issue of Interview Magazine about the newcomer’s Star Wars crush, being considered a sex symbol, and when to say ‘no’ to the wardrobe department. Though, amusingly, it’s Fisher’s delivery and responses that really make the whole thing worth reading.

For example, Ridley tells Fisher that the actors she most looks up to are “Carey Mulligan and Felicity Jones. […] I’m not so much younger than them. I like that. It’s kind of aspirational.”

But Fisher wants some dirt. “And males? Any crushes?” she asks.

“Not really! I’ve never been one for crushing on famous people,” Ridley replies. Then she tells Fisher, “People have been asking me about crushes out of the original film, and I say you every time. They were like, ‘Is there anyone you particularly look up to?’ And I’m like, ‘Well, Carrie, obviously.’”

Again, Fisher isn’t having it. “You didn’t like Mark [Hamill] or Harrison [Ford]? This is the only time we’d ever have this conversation.”

At one point, Ridley says that she’s never received advice from Fisher—who, in turn, calls Ridley a “f—er” (in an endearing way, presumably!).

Fisher also airs her own feelings about that uncomfortable—yet iconic—gold bikini she sported in 1983′s Return of the Jedi, which recently sold for a staggering $96,000 at auction. The conversation is sparked when she asks Ridley about her almost certain future as a sex symbol, following the release of the movie.

“You should fight for your outfit,” Fisher advises (see? Advice!) Ridley. “Don’t be a slave like I was.”

“All right, I’ll fight,” Ridley assures her.

“You keep fighting against that slave outfit.”
