With Dancing With the Stars season 32 officially in high gear, Carrie Ann Inaba has some thoughts about how the show is honoring the memory of one of their own.

In late April, fans of the competition series learned that head judge Len Goodman died at the age of 78 from prostate cancer. The news of his death came five months after he announced his retirement from DWTS after 17 years, with many wondering how the show would honor such a legend.

Well, viewers tuned into the season premiere on September 26 where it was revealed that the coveted Mirrorball Trophy would now be called the Len Goodman Mirrorball Trophy.

When the show shared the current judges' thoughts on the decision in an Instagram video on September 27, Carrie Ann got emotional about Len's legacy being honored in such a sentimental way. "This is our first season without Len and I'm just thinking of Len," she shared. "I'm so happy that we have named the Mirrorball Trophy after Len Goodman. So, he will always be with us. I miss him so much."

When fans caught wind of Carrie Ann's sentimental feelings about the way DWTS is memorializing Len moving forward, they immediately resonated with her in the comments.

"We love Len so much! ❤️ A true dancer through and through from technique to showmanship!" one person wrote on Instagram. "😭😭😭. We miss you, Len! ❤️," another added. "So touching and moving words from Ms. Carrie Ann thank you," a different follower replied.

Recently, when co-host Alfonso Ribeiro spoke to People ahead of the season premiere, he shared that the series' dancing pros would remember Len as they prepare their routines with their respective partners.

"I can guarantee you that every one of those pros will be making sure that the routines are still designed for Len," he explained in September. "I know I've talked to a few of them and they will be putting in specific steps that Len used to love, just to make sure that the content is still there for Len."

We miss you, Len!
