Carrie Ann Inaba Posted a Heartbreaking Instagram After Splitting From Her Boyfriend
The Talk cohost Carrie Ann Inaba and boyfriend Fabien Viteri have gone their separate ways.
Carrie Ann, who is on a leave of absence from the CBS daytime show to focus on her wellbeing, announced the news on Wednesday to her fans via her Instagram Stories. In a series of slides, which include several pictures of her and Fabien together, the Dancing With the Stars judge opened up about how she was feeling in light of the breakup.
"I am single again," one slide read, while another one continued, "I am also ... grateful for what was. Confused. Uncertain of the future. Sad. Hopeful. Trying to allow the emotions. Trying to be strong. Allowing myself [the] space to cry. And I will grow. And I will evolve. And I will survive this too. And I will honor the gift that it was."
The last few slides feature the same picture of a sunset and more reflective words:
"Sometimes the things you thought were forever end up only being temporary. Finding the strength to accept that it's over is enormously painful. Losing your friend ... losing the hopes and dreams ... your partner ... the person you shared everything with ... your person ... your love. It's hard. Not going to fake that I am OK. I celebrate my emotions. Because It tells me that I've alive and that my heart loves deeply. It was real. True love. And I'm so sad it's over. But I'm grateful it happened. So very grateful. #SerenityPrayer"
Carrie Ann announced her relationship with Fabien back in September of 2020 while on The Talk. On the September 21 episode of the show, Carrie Ann proudly declared, "I have fallen in love, and I am now in a committed relationship!"
She later opened up more about Fabien: "I met this man; he’s from my neighborhood, and we met, sort of, walking our dogs, and there’s more to the story … He’s older than I am, and he’s a wonderful human being. And now, I understand how a relationship can work. He’s been so supportive and a mature adult ‘cause maybe sometimes I’m not so that’s working really well."
Just last month, Carrie Ann posted multiple photos on Instagram from a trip she and Fabien took together while vacationing.
So far, Carrie Ann hasn't shared why the couple decided to break up.
