See what the DWTS pro was yelling from the skybox as Carrie Ann was critiquing another couple's dance.

For a minute, it looked as if things were getting heated at the Dancing with the Stars judges table when Carrie Ann Inaba was critiquing Vinny Guadagnino’s paso doble with pro partner Koko Iwasaki and had to stop to take Emma Slater to task, chiding her, “Emma, is that you?" And then adding, "Have you danced yet?”

It wasn’t clear exactly what it was Emma had said that upset the judge, but backstage after the show, Emma told Parade that she had booed what Carrie Ann was saying.

“I'm a massive cheerer, but I’m a massive boo-er as well because it's TV and that's the name of the game,” she said. “I like to support my friends and my colleagues when they're getting some remarks, so I very lightly booed, but she definitely called me out on it. I was like, ‘I’m so sorry.’ I was very sorry about that but it’s the protective side of me.”

Apparently, it’s a common occurrence, so much so that Carrie Ann knew who it was without looking. And Emma admitted it’s something she does every week, and that we can probably hear her on TV.

“I will really scream and support,” she said. “If there's one person slightly more loud than everyone else, that's probably me. And so, on Tuesdays, my voice is completely gone. I unfortunately I have that side of me. So, sorry Carrie Ann, but I respect the hell out of her. She's amazing and I'm in love with the person she is. I think she's just a really awesome person, so it's not [meant to be] disrespectful to her at all.”

And considering that Carrie Ann later went on to give Emma and her partner Trevor Donovan a 10 for their contemporary dance, there were no hard feelings. In fact, the couple got their highest ever score: 39 out of a possible 40, which kept them from being in the bottom two for a third time.

“It feels amazing,” Trevor said of getting high scores from the judges. “This [dance] really was in my wheelhouse. There's a freedom to it. I didn't have to follow so many rules. And it very much lends itself to the acting world by telling a story. So, if we could do this every week, that would be great. But I feel like if I had more time to learn frame and some of those other dances, I think I could get a lot better, too. All I know is I'm loving it.”

Dancing with the Stars streams Monday nights at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT on Disney+.
