Carnival Cruise Line Will Deliver Beer And Pizza To You Anywhere On Its Ships
Imagine this: You get back on the ship after a long day in the sun and you find the perfect spot to lounge out on deck. Then you start to get hungry. But...you don't want to give up that prime lounge chair. What do you do? On Carnival Cruise Line, you can use the HUB App’s "pizza anywhere" function to have a hot pie delivered straight to you almost anywhere on the ship. And now, you can add a cold one to that order, too.
This week, Carnival announced an expansion of its on-board delivery options. Guests using the app to order pizza can add on a soda (Coke, Coke Zero, Diet Coke, Diet Sprite), bottled water, or beer, with a choice of Peroni, Miller Lite and Blue Moon. As for the pizzas, those come in varieties like Margherita, mushroom, prosciutto, pepperoni, and four-cheese.
If you're wondering how the delivery person will find you, there's a very 2019 answer: Guests tap on the ship’s map to mark their location, then take a selfie to ID themselves.
For now, the service is available on four ships-the Carnival Conquest, Carnival Liberty, Carnival Glory, and Carnival Sensation-with plans to roll it out across all Carnival ships in the next few months. The four kicking off the launch sail to places like the Caribbean, the Bahamas, and Cuba, with plenty of other restaurants to dine at, from Guy's Burger Joint to sushi restaurants and steakhouses.
