Who knew years later that we’d all love Carly Rae Jepsen as much as we do? Well, probably her fans, who call her the “queen of” whatever it is she’s doing. And Jepsen knows all about the memes. That’s right, folks. Even her friends will make little jokes about it to her! Now here’s the thing: We all love Carly. We can’t wait for her new album (and apparently neither can Shazam). Even her new summer hit has us wanting more new music from her!

Now, the memes started on her Instagram, and not even Carly herself knows where they came from.

But she is the queen of everything, anyway.

According to Mashable, even Jepsen’s bandmates make fun of her by saying the meme to her.

“But it’s pretty hilarious. My bandmates have begun teasing me about it. Now, I’ll be leaning on a wall and they’re like, “QUEEN OF LEANING ON A WALL” and I’m like [exasperated tone] ‘Okay, okay.’… I’m actually a little shy about it but it’s sweet.”

And that’s just absolutely adorable! Not only is Carly a rockstar, but she gets shy when she’s teased about her meme! How cute is that?

The meme is simple, her fans just call her the queen of whatever she’s doing. If you look through the comments on her Instagram or Twitter, it’s pretty much on every picture!

From the queen of wearing T-shirts under dresses to the queen of joy, Carly Rae Jepsen sure has a lot of things in her domain. And that’s totally understandable! Her fans love her and as they should, she’s pretty amazing all around.

Hopefully soon though we’ll get even more news on Carly’s new album and then she’ll be the queen of even more. Because really, who doesn’t love rocking out to a Carly Rae Jepsen song? She’s just so catchy!
