You can put bacon on basically anything (or, at least, we tried to). Carl’s Jr. is following that mentality with the launch of Bacon Truffle Cheese Fries. But, beware, they’re only around for a limited time!

The crispy French fries are covered in a truffle-infused white cheddar sauce and topped with Applewood-smoked bacon pieces. They hit the menu on March 27 for $2.79 and, wow, how many orders do you think we can stuff into our mouths in one sitting?

If that bacon isn’t enough (is it ever?), Carl’s Jr. is also putting out a Bacon Truffle Angus Burger. It’s covered in that same truffle-infused white cheddar sauce and topped with Applewood-smoked bacon, crispy onion strings, Swiss cheese, caramelized onions, and mayonnaise. You can snag one (also for a limited time) starting at $5.99.

“Truffle is traditionally viewed as a rare indulgence, and we’re bringing it to the everyday dining experience by infusing the distinct truffle flavor into an entirely new offering for our burger-loving customers,” Owen Klein, vice president of Culinary Innovation at CKE Restaurants, said in a press release. “During the testing phase, Carl’s Jr. Bacon Truffle Angus Burger outperformed all benchmarks, including taste, uniqueness and quality - and we’re thrilled to add the elegant taste of truffle to the menu.”
