This Caribbean Island Is Making Your Dream Beach Vacation Affordable This Summer

You probably don’t need another reason to book — or dream of booking — a beach vacation. But in case you needed that extra push, over 20 hotels on the Caribbean island of Saint Lucia have announced that they’re dropping rates by up to 60 percent for summer travelers.

To help travelers find accomodations that fit their needs (and their price range), the Saint Lucia Tourism Authority has created a summer specials promotional page that lists properties and booking packages, with deals that are hard to beat.

At the adults-only Serenity at Coconut Bay, couples who stay seven nights or more this summer save $150 a night and get a handful of added bonuses — included butler service, an in-suite couples massage, and a champagne catamaran cruise. The offer is available for travel through July 5. At Ti Kaye Resort & Spa, guests get 50 percent off summer accommodations, 20 percent off spa and diving services, and free breakfast and snorkel gear. The offer is available for travel through Dec. 15.

Other participating Saint Lucia resorts include: Aupic Paradise, Bay Gardens Beach Resort and Spa, Bay Gardens Hotel, Bay Gardens Inn, Bay Gardens Marina Haven, Calabash Cove Resort and Spa, C'est La Vie, Coco Palm, Coconut Bay Beach Resort and Spa, East Winds, Fond Doux Plantation and Resort, Hotel Chocolat, Ladera, The Landings Resort and Spa, Marigot Bay Resort Spa and Marina, Mango Beach Inn, Tet Rouge Resort, and Villa Capri.

The Caribbean island is home to almost 100 miles of coastline and beaches, with experiences that include hiking Tet Paul Nature Trail for 360-degree views of the island and visiting the recently expanded mud baths in Sulphur Springs Park — which also happens to be the most Instagrammed site in Saint Lucia.

This summer, travelers can find direct flights to Saint Lucia from Miami, New York City, Boston, Chicago, Atlanta, Philadelphia, and Charlotte, NC.
