Carey Mulligan and Marcus Mumford Welcomed Their Third Child

The two met in 2011 and married after just five months together.

Academy Award-nominated actress Carey Mulligan and her husband, musician Marcus Mumford, have a new addition to their family and in a new interview with Vogue, the news dropped in the most unceremonious way. According to People, the sit-down between the venerated fashion magazine and Mulligan took place six weeks postpartum and while there was no mention of the baby's name or sex, there was a stain on Mulligan's shirt that said it all.

The writer noted that when they met up, Mulligan entered "a London coffee shop with a bemused gesture at the yellow diaper-leak stain streaked across her blouse."

"I'm going to change you, and then we're going to find Mum another shirt," she said to her new baby afterward. People adds that there was no mention of the baby elsewhere in the interview, leaving fans to speculate just about everything and everything about the news.

Mulligan and Mumford have two children together, a 7-year-old daughter named Evelyn Grace and a 5-year-old son named Wilfred.

In an interview published last year, Mulligan opened up about her experience with postpartum depression after the birth of her daughter.

"One of the parts of the script that hit me initially the most was Megan's experience with postnatal depression. I had a very similar experience with my first child seven years ago, and felt very alone, and very scared, and also very confused by the whole experience," she said before adding that getting back in front of the camera seemed to help. "It was really going back to work in some form that was the thing that got me on the road to finding myself again with incredible support around me."
