Parenting critics are often coming for Pink and husband Carey Hart, most recently to chide them for letting their toddler son ride a dirt bike. The criticism, however, isn’t putting Hart off — in fact, he’s now decided to “poke the parent police bear.”

The former motorcycle racer thumbed his nose at his critics by sharing a video of the couple’s 7-year-old daughter, Willow, firing a rifle. As Hart explained in the caption, the girl has been shooting — for sport, not to hunt — since age 3.

“I’m raising the kids with knowledge of firearms, how to handle them, shoot them, store them and avoid them in uneducated hands,” he added.

This time, Hart’s post was met with support from like-minded fans.

“Keep up the good parenting,” wrote one fan.

“I am a proud girl that shoots and knows how to properly handle a firearm thanks to my dad!” added a commenter.

“Right on, they need to know this stuff so when the time comes they can make the right decision and maybe save someone’s life,” another supporter wrote. “Doing the same thing with my girls.”

Some were less impressed. One follower wrote, “unless she loses control and shoots you in the face, all good” prompting Hart to call her “ignorant.”

Hart also offered advice to other parents, suggesting they “start them young” on gun education and try a gun range if they aren’t comfortable teaching kids about guns themselves.

“In America firearms are legal and not going away,” he added in a comment to a non-American follower who questioned his support of guns. “So I choose to embrace it. Take the taboo out. Educate them so they don’t become a statistic. Many forms of shooting are an OLYMPIC SPORT.”

Pink hasn’t commented on Hart’s post or comments about guns.
