Cardi B’s Vibes on the 2023 Grammys Red Carpet Are Beyond

Cardi B is presenting at the 2023 Grammy Awards and showed up on the red carpet looking all kinds of ready for the spotlight. By which I mean she wore a stunning sculptural blue ’fit that I will most certainly not be getting over for the foreseeable future.

Although can we also take a moment to talk about her red carpet vibes during last night’s Clive Davis pre-Grammys gala in Los Angeles? She and Offset pretty much couldn’t keep their hands (or their tongues) off each other:

Cardi gave a speech honoring Atlantic Records execs Julie Greenwald and Craig Kallman at the event, saying they were there for her while she was recording Invasion of Privacy while pregnant. “I was very scared—I was pregnant and I was afraid to tell anyone,” she said. “I was afraid to tell anyone. I was afraid of people who wanted me to decide between my family and my career because I knew that happened to other artists with other labels. But with Craig and Julie, the exact opposite happened. You told me I could do both and I will never ever forget that.”

Cardi was announced as a presenter back on February 1, along with some major names including First Lady Jill Biden (extremely casual), Enemy of Balthazar James Corden, actor/comedian Billy Crystal, actor and current Grammy nominee Viola Davis, actor Dwayne Johnson, singer Olivia Rodrigo, and Shania Twain, woman who remains deeply unimpressed by Brad Pitt.

Meanwhile, the show (which is hosted by Trevor Noah) will include performances from Harry Styles, Bad Bunny, Mary J. Blige, Brandi Carlile, Luke Combs, Steve Lacy, Lizzo, Kim Petras, and Sam Smith. Questlove will also be cocurating the Hip-Hop 50 tribute performance.
