Rapper Offset has a surprising new friend: Jamie Lee Curtis!

The musician, who is married to fellow rapper Cardi B, shared exactly how he became friends with Curtis, revealing the DM he sent to her on social media.

"Jamie Lee Curtis is a real one," Offset said of the exchange on Good Morning America. "I DM'd Jamie Lee Curtis on Instagram and said, 'Yo, I got an idea. I would love to work with you.' So, she wrote me back so quick and was like, 'Yeah, I got you but you need to follow me.'"

Offset explained that they then exchanged numbers and he told her all about his big idea, and "she was ready to do it."

Then, thanks to Offset's forwardness and Curtis' earnest interest in his project, the Everything Everywhere All at Once actress had a cameo in a fun video promoting Offset's new song, "Jealousy," featuring Cardi B.

In the promotional clip with Offset and Curtis, the two recreate the memorable 1988 CNN interview with James Brown, in which reporter Sonya Friedman asked him about his relationship with wife Adrienne Lois Rodriguez after he was arrested for allegedly hitting her.

Offset and Curtis' version has the actress acting as the reporter asking Offset about the status of his relationship with his wife Cardi B. Offset plays it off as if there's nothing wrong, quoting Brown when he says, "I'm out on love!"

Along with the video, Offset announced that his new song, "Jealousy," would be out that Friday.

Fans loved the rapper and actress' chemistry in the video, with one person saying, "I want to see you and Jamie Lee Curtis in the next installment of Halloween. This would be legendary."

"This genius fr I love it," proclaimed another.

The official music video came out on July 28, with "Jealousy" serving as a single off his highly-anticipated upcoming album.
