Cardi B’s Younger Sister, Hennessy Carolina, Has a Double-Tap-Worthy Style of Her Own

While Cardi B certainly has a megawatt look, complete with body-skimming dresses and a blingy $500,000 engagement ring, it turns out her younger sister Hennessy Carolina has a style to watch, too. Today, Cardi B re-grammed a picture of Carolina on a city bus wearing an outfit comprised of a mustard-yellow beret (a topper that she often wears!), white T-shirt, frayed mom jeans, and for a throwback kick, a nylon Prada bag. Cardi B's caption: “Fashion Girl.” The description sounds about right: Carolina's Instagram is a trove of double tap-worthy outfits. For example, while in Paris this past week, she sported a luxe fur coat, a T-shirt boasting an image of Uma Thurman from Pulp Fiction, a tiered glinting silver waterfall necklace which paired quite nicely with her rhinestone-coated bag, a kicky checkered skirt, and red tights—as well as the perfect antidote to those ubiquitous teeny Matrix shades, a pair of red robotic sunglasses. Recently, she wore a black decolletage-diving bodysuit and sequined bolero, and back in late January, she sported a striped turtleneck, a brown harness, snakeskin boots, and a signature beret.

Hennessy’s cool look isn’t such a surprise. Style is often a family-tree trait, and in the case of sisters, it tends to be even more so. Take the Hadids—both Gigi and Bella have carved out individual, paparazzi-beloved wardrobes—or the Kardashian clan, including Kendall and Kylie Jenner. And although Cardi B and Carolina’s aesthetics might differ—the rapper veers toward a more va va voom path, while her sibling opts for a more understated, mix-and-match ‘90s aesthetic—both frequently call out a favorite label on social media: Fashionnova.
