Cardi B Unveils Her Mayoral Platform

She and Jimmy Kimmel talk the next step in world domination: New York City.

Cardi B's reign as the Queen of the Bronx continues, even though, as Jimmy Kimmel points out, there's a slough of impressive people coming out of the borough. She and Tracy Morgan learned they grew up on the same block, and Kimmel's other guest on Wednesday night, Congressional candidate Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, is also a Bronx native.

So considering that and the spate of celebrities eyeing elected office, Kimmel asked Cardi B if she has an interest in politics. Apparently she does, but as a celebrity she now worries that if she says something too out of line the White House may have her offed. But she may have more clout than she realizes.

Kimmel: If you decided to run for mayor of New York City, I feel like you could actually win if you wanted to.

Cardi B: I feel so, you know what I'm saying? But, it's like it's something that you have to be extremely responsible for. So many things I want to do like... rats, raccoons, wanna get rid of them.

Kimmel: You want to get rid of the rats and raccoons? Are there a lot of raccoons around?

Cardi B: It's like, I don't know where they came from! They're everywhere, and you know what, something about the rats, like they're scared of you. But the raccoons, they're not scared of you. They just look at you like, "Why are you in my backyard?"

If politics doesn't work out, a reality show of Cardi B organizing massive raccoon round-ups would also have legs.
