Cardi B Stans "You" Star Penn Badgley After Twitter Shoutout

Being an A-List celeb doesn't stop Cardi B from stanning over her faves on social media, just like the rest of us. Fresh off of the premiere of You season three, she proved how much she loved the series in the sweetest exchange with the show's star, Penn Badgley, on Twitter.

On Sunday, Cardi retweeted a video of Penn shouting out her "authentic relationship" with social media. "I really appreciate people who have this totally second-nature relationship to it [social media], because that's when you have something meaningful and substantive to post, then I think it really comes through, and people appreciate it all the more," he explained. "Cardi B is a great example of that. She has such an authentic relationship."

The Netflix star added, "To me, it's this incredibly nuanced place to be, and despite what many might judge as antics, I feel she [Cardi B] has an incredibly authentic relationship to that, and I think that's why people like her so much."

Shocked by Penn's shoutout, the Invasion of Privacy rapper replied, "OOOOMMFFFGGGGGG HE KNOWS ME !!!OMMMGGGG!!!!!!Yoooo like I'm famous famous."

Equally surprised, Penn replied by quote-retweeting Cardi and writing "I-" detailing his excitement.

After swapping profile pics on Twitter, the hilarious interaction continued with Cardi replying to Penn with a video of a young child asking their mom, "Is that you? Is that me?"
