The rapper got her 17-month old son Wave's name in ink on her face in August 2022.

Cardi B is one proud mama, and she's got the ink to prove it.

The 30-year-old rapper is a mother to two children with husband Offset: daughter Kulture, 4, and son Wave, 17 months. Since having kids, Cardi has inked herself up with special tributes for each of her babies, including the newest one on her face.

"I love my face tatt," she wrote this week, alongside a photo of the ink on Twitter, which was taken during her and Offset's recent McDonald's promo shoot. The tattoo, which reads "Wave," is inked in red with swirly font right along her jawline.

She first revealed the tattoo in September 2022, a month after having the ink done by tattoo artist Robinson De Los Santos, who shared a video of the process on Instagram. She later shared a glimpse at the tat for her fans on her own IG story.

In January of last year, the "I Like It" artist hinted at her plans on Twitter, writing, "Random but ….I’m 1% close too tatting my sons name on my face….I really really wanna do it!"

Cardi's tribute to her son is in the same spot as Offset's ink for their daughter Kulture, which he got just 7 weeks after she was born. The doting mom also has a tattoo for her daughter, which reads Kulture's name in black ink on her arm.

Cardi and Offset welcomed Kulture in 2018, less than a year after tying the knot. Their son Wave came along in 2021, although they waited to announce his name until he was seven months old.

In addition to Kulture and Wave, the Migos rapper is also a father to sons Jordan, 13, and Kody, 7, as well as daughter Kalea Marie, 7, from previous relationships.
