Cardi B Shares How She Told Husband Offset About Her Pregnancy

Cardi B was very low-key about revealing her second pregnancy to her husband, Migos rapper Offset.
The "Bodak Yellow" rapper opened up about her pregnancy during a surprise interview on the live radio app Stationhead Tuesday. Cardi shared the story of how she found out that she was pregnant and how she broke the news to Offset.
Cardi said that she started to show pregnancy symptoms, including headaches and car sickness, and that her "mouth started to get watery" two weeks before the Grammys last March, according to People. Instead of a grand reveal, however, the rapper simply told Offset, "I think I'm pregnant, bro!"
The couple later confirmed it with a pregnancy test. "We just started laughing like, 'Lord, we have so much to do,'" she said.
Cardi also spoke about her excitement for baby number two. "There is something so dear about this pregnancy and I feel like I'm starting a new chapter, and I'm happy about that."
The rapper revealed her pregnancy to the world during a surprise performance with Offset and his group, Migos, at the 2021 BET Awards. The couple are parents to three-year-old Kulture Kiari Cephus, and Offset is dad to three children from previous relationships.
Cardi also told Stationhead that she has no plans for a baby shower, saying that she doesn't want to throw another lavish party too soon after Kulture's third birthday.
"I just get overwhelmed when I do these big birthdays and I just feel like the baby shower with Kulture's birthday is just too close. Just to see the same people over again, and it's like, not doing it," she said.
Cardi and Offset went all out for Kulture's last birthday as an only child, throwing her a fairy-tale-themed party with an outdoor petting zoo, Disney princesses, and a horse-drawn carriage ride. Cardi's Instagram Story documenting the event showed herself and Kulture having a ball in matching pink tulle princess gowns.
