We can always count on Cardi B to pull off an over-the-top beauty look. From skinny brows to goth lips, she's game to try anything, especially when it comes to her nails. Over the course of her career, she has sported dozens of renditions of the shape, from ultra-long milk bath duck nails to classic pointy chrome and her cool "blue hour" mani. Now, she's just topped herself with her longest nail look yet, paired with some ultra-viral makeup.

On March 12, the rap superstar posted the cover art for her latest single, "Enough (Miami)," which was full of beauty inspo. In the photo—where she's sprawled out on a silver sofa with little-to-no clothing—Cardi's hair is as long as Rapunzel's. Her makeup, however, is where things get really interesting.

Cardi's makeup artist, Erika la' Pearl recreated a version of Pat McGrath's now-legendary doll makeup from the Maison Margiela couture show. La' Pearl gave Cardi the same skinny brows as the models who walked the runway, as well as lime green eyeshadow, peachy blush, and dramatically lined lips. The finishing touch was the glassy "porcelain doll" glow all over Cardi's face and body, that was created using a mixture of peel-off masks and water applied with an airbrush.

Seeing as this is Cardi B we're talking about, even makeup this dramatic couldn't overshadow her mani. Extending to be what looks like almost half a foot past the tips of her fingers, each of Cardi's nails was accented with ultra-long stiletto tips.

As is the case with every French mani, most of Cardi's nails were a neutral nude color not too far off from her skin tone. This warm-toned beige continued to where her nails extended past her fingers. Then, once there, the pointy French tips started in a glossy black colorway. However, different from most, the tips weren't solidly filled in; instead, they had wisps of black lines forming and filling the shape of the French tip without forming a solid pattern altogether. All-in-all? The look was perfectly Cardi; classically chic with a new-age edge.
