Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion Wore So Many Iconic Beauty Looks in the New "WAP" Video

Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion's highly anticipated new single, "WAP," has finally dropped, and with it comes an eye-popping new music video. Just like the lyrics, the clip is graphic and colorful — and the same can be said about the beauty looks throughout the four-minute bop, bringing together the talents of some of the most sought-after hair, nail, and makeup pros in the business.

The first looks we see the rappers in are reminiscent of the cover art that was teased on Tuesday, August 4: matching ‘90s-inspired updos with big, towering curls, a super sleek, side-parted base, and a straight tendril off to one side. The makeup and nails get an elaborate upgrade, however. Cardi’s eyes are surrounded by hot-pink shadow and topped off with especially dramatic false lashes; her super long, pink, pointy nails poke through her gloves and are topped with crystals. Meanwhile, Megan's eyes host a blend of gold, burgundy and green shadows, and are surrounded by symmetrically placed crystals in the inner corners and near her temples; her yellow nails perfectly match her off-the-shoulder corset.

Megan and Cardi are twinning even more when we see them lying on sand among snakes, wearing extra-long, middle-parted, straight hair. Both wear dark, dramatically winged eye shadow, and Cardi's nails appear to be covered in a khaki-colored snake print.

The video gets even more vibrant when we see Megan and Cardi in shorter, voluminous, multicolor wigs — Cardi's a lime-green and purple wavy bob, and Megan's a turquoise and lavender shoulder-skimming style. Both artists are sporting super-glossy lips in berry shades.

We get a bit of an intermission from Cardi and Megan's ever-changing looks with a surprise cameo from Kylie Jenner, who's beauty vibe is much more subtle than the rappers'. We get to see her long, side-parted, chocolate-brown waves, rosy cheeks, neutral eye shadow, and pinkish-nude lips for a few moments before she exits through one of the many doors in the video's Tiffany-blue hallway.

Cardi's next look is arguably the most elaborate of the bunch: blunt bands a tubular gold accessory from which round links of hair come together to form a super long chain ponytail. Megan's next hairstyle is equally elaborate, but in a different way: a zebra-print ombré in shades of gray.

For Cardi's beauty looks, you can thank wig legend Tokyo Stylez, her go-to makeup artist Erika La' Pearl, and nail artist Jenny Bui. For Megan's, there was hairstylist Kellon Deryck and nail artist Coca Michelle. But — plot twist — Megan is credited as her own makeup artist. Is there anything she can't do?
