Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion Tease Fans with the Possibility of a Follow-Up to "WAP"
Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion's "WAP" was one of 2020's biggest hits, so the two superstars aren't ruling out creating another certified bop together.
Both Cardi and Megan took to Twitter over the weekend to celebrate the one-year anniversary of their smash collaboration, and went on to tease fans about the possibility of the two rappers working together again for a follow-up track.
"Wow I can't believe wappity WAP turned one today. It don't even feel like it. What a record! @theestallion we should do it again sometime," Cardi wrote on Twitter.

The accompanying music video for "WAP" essentially broke the Internet last summer with its star-studded visuals featuring high-profile cameos from women including Rosalía, Normani, and Kylie Jenner. The song also became a pseudo-feminist anthem for those who aren't afraid of taking charge of their sexuality.
While the song was a hit, conservative figureheads expressed their discontent with the single, which Megan previously said only helped the song's overall success.
"I feel like that [backlash] was a little weird. I know the Republicans have been having a bad year and they probably needed to take their frustration out somewhere," Megan said during an interview on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. "But I want to tell them, 'Thank you for the streams because, without you, I don't know if we would've been here.' But, no. Them people crazy."
