Cardi B Just Vowed to Free 'Tiger King' Joe Exotic

From Men's Health

Like so many others, rapper Cardi B has been live-tweeting her viewing experience of Netflix's bizarre docuseries Tiger King, sharing her thoughts on the increasingly bonkers story as it unfolds.

Turns out, Cardi is part of the "Carole Baskin killed her husband" hive, a fast-growing conspiracy theory community on the internet which 100 percent believes the flower crown-wearing cat lover fed millionaire Don Lewis to one of her precious tigers.

First she tweeted that the softly-spoken Baskin isn't as "slick" as she makes out, then she retweeted the meme that's been going around in which Joe sits behind a sign that reads: "Carole Baskin fed her husband to the tigers. Change my mind."

So it's perhaps unsurprising that the rapper has emerged from her Tiger King binge-watch on Team Joe Exotic. She's been speculating as to who might have been the culprit to burn down Joe's studio and alligator facility (the prime suspects include producer Rick Kirkham and Joe himself).

She then posted that the other participants in the documentary repeatedly "did Joe dirty," perhaps referring to the way in which Joe's new business partner Jeff Lowe took control of his beloved G.W. Zoo, or how Lowe and James Garretson cooperated with the feds to get Joe arrested.

And upon completing the series, which ends with Joe serving a 22-year prison sentence for multiple counts, including attempted murder for hire and euthanizing five tigers, Cardi jokingly pledged to start a GoFundMe page to help Joe fight his legal battles and get out of prison. Or maybe she wasn't kidding? As Tiger King has proven, much stranger things have happened.

Joe Exotic (legal name Joe Maldonado-Passage) recently filed a $94 million lawsuit against the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, claiming he was unfairly targeted, and has also requested an official pardon from the White House.
