Cardi B just revealed the mother of all maternity shoots

It’s hard to top the floral extravaganza that was Beyoncé’s “it’s twins!” pregnancy announcement — and trust us, countless moms have tried — but Cardi B is certainly up for the challenge.

Nearly a month after giving birth to daughter Kulture Kiari Cephas on July 10, the new mom has shared her ethereal maternity shoot with fans. Photographer Jora Frantzis captured the rapper baring her bump while artfully draped in fuchsia fabric. Anyone else getting major Botticelli’s Birth of Venus vibes?

“This is one of the most beautiful photos I have ever seen,” read one of the many comments lavishing praise on the shoot, which shows Cardi B wearing her hair in long, Diana Ross-esque curls.

“OMG you look an actual goddess,” added another fan.

It’s not the first pregnancy glamour shot the star has shared. She announced her daughter’s birth by posting a series of intimate photos exposing her pregnant body — and judging by the flowers, fabric, hair, and manicure, they’re all from the same shoot.

How soon before civilian moms-to-be make a mad dash to the crafts store to stock up on silk and fake flowers for their own copycat pregnancy announcement? And does this mean it’s time to finally retire the lingerie-and-green-veil Beyoncé tributes?
