Cardi B’s dentist says “Bodak Yellow” tripled her business, and yes, that song is unstoppable
In Cardi B’s now record-setting song “Bodak Yellow” she raps about making enough money to get her teeth fixed with the lyrics, “Got a bag and fixed my teeth.” In what could have been totally benign lyrics about being so rich you can afford veneers, the internet honed in on that lyric and was like, “Wait, who fixed your teeth though?” Meaning, people wanted to know what dentist fixed Cardi B’s teeth, so that they could go there too.
First of all, congrats to Cardi B on being the first female rapper to top the Billboard Hot 100 chart, and congrats to Catrise Austin, D.D.S. for being Cardi’s dentist!
“Since the song ‘Bodak Yellow,’ that just went number one this week, went out, things have been incredible,” Dr. Austin told TMZ. “My business has literally tripled.”

Cardi actually had the dental work done during an episode of Love & Hip Hop: New York.

Dr. Austin’s website suggests that her Love & Hip Hop appearance kickstarted her runaway dental success.

When the transformation debuted on the season premiere episode of season 7 of Love and Hip Hop: New York last November, it sparked smile makeover frenzy!”
Cardi’s teeth are perfect, so shoutout to Dr. Austin!
