Cardi B is taking responsibility for hosting a large-scale dinner celebration at her home for Thanksgiving.

Over the holiday weekend, the "WAP" rapper shared clips on Instagram of her house filled with dozens of friends and family for Thanksgiving. However, this year, medical experts and scientists have fervently advised against large social gatherings due to the ongoing spread of COVID-19 across the nation.

The videos, which feature the rapper's friends and family dancing and eating together without masks, quickly garnered heat on social media with fans pointing out the danger and risk of the in-person celebration. Cardi also confirmed the amount of guests in her home on Twitter, writing on Sunday that 12 children and 25 adults joined her for the holiday.

After reading about fans questioning her decision to host so many people within her home, Cardi took to Twitter to clarify that she meant no initial harm in having family over and assured that everyone had been previously tested for COVID-19.

"Sorry my bad wasn't trying to make nobody feel bad.I just had my family in my home for the first time and it felt so good & uplifted me .I spent soo much money getting every1 tested but it felt worth it.I wasnt trying to offend no1," she tweeted.

The rapper continued, explaining that she and everyone around her regularly gets tested for the virus, especially as she continues to work amid the pandemic.

"ME specially and everyone that works around me get tested literally 4 times a week.Im In the middle of work and Everytime we clock in we MUST GET TESTED !" Cardi declared.

Thanksgiving wasn't the first time Cardi B hosted a large-scale gathering amid the pandemic though. Back in October, the rapper took her friends and family to Las Vegas for a lavish, desert-themed birthday celebration, with stars such as The Weeknd, Kylie Jenner, and Megan Thee Stallion all in attendance.
