Cara Delevingne's pin-straight spiky chin-length bob is giving 00s Cameron Diaz
From sleek to bombshell to wet-look; the myth that bobs aren't versatile has been truly blown out of the water in 2023. The last time bobs were dominating this hard was back in the late 90s and early 00s – a Y2K staple – and Cara Delevingne's latest styling reminds us of just that.
It's giving Rachel Green in season 7 of Friends back in the year 2000 and Cameron Diaz in Charlie's Angels. Let's also not forget post Oops I did it Again Britney chopping her long lock into a bob in, you guessed it, 2000.
Hair stylist, Anthony Campbell has given her biscuity blonde balayage bob a sleek side part with a straight finish that really shows off how her colour melts into those blonde tips. Rather than curling under for the illusion of volume or adding in extensions for thickness, the pair have embraced the weightless feathery tips that were everywhere back in the early 00s. Add a few flicks and we'd think we'd stepped into a time machine.
The brows couldn't be further from Y2K though, Makeup artist Hung Vanngo filled in Cara's brows in all their chunky glory, with a neater defined line than the soap brows that have been reigning supreme lately. But, I mean come on, Cara Delevingne with a skinny brow would be sacrilege.
