Cara Delevingne Wore a Top Hat and Coattails to Princess Eugenie's Wedding

A royal wedding is perfect time for some A-plus hat spotting, and supermodel-turned-actress Cara Delevingne didn't disappoint.

Rather than wear a royal fascinator with a veil, like the royal toppers worn by Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton (they both opted for tried-and-true designer Philip Treacy), Delevingne wore a top hat.

She paired everyone's favorite Monopoly piece with coattails and black pumps for a gender-bending look that still mostly adheres to Eugenie's strict dress code. It was reported by Vanity Fair that women were required to wear dresses and hats, while men were required to wear morning coats. We don't think Eugenie will mind, however, that Cara did her own thing.

Delevingne was one of a number of models who attended the nuptials Friday, including fellow Brits Kate Moss and Naomi Campbell. Her attendance is no surprise given Eugenie's connection to the fashion world — the Princess is often spotted on the fashion show circuit and is pals with American model Karlie Kloss, too.
