Cara Delevingne Transforms Into ‘Holiday Armadillo,’ Justin Bieber Becomes ‘Spudnik’ & More Unexpected Highlights From ‘Friends: The Reunion’

Fans have been buzzing for months ever since the news of a “Friends” reunion broke and this week, they finally got what they’ve been waiting for for years.

The HBO Max special, “Friends: The Reunion,” aired yesterday on the streaming platform, bringing together all six main characters for the first time in decades. Throughout the show, David Schwimmer Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry and Jennifer Aniston came together to discuss the highs and lows of their experience on the cult-favorite show.

At one point, the producers surprised the actors with a selection of celebrity cameos to bring back a few of the show’s most memorable outfits and costumes. Justin Bieber, for one, stepped out in the full “Spudnik” costume from Season 8 of the series.

Cara Delevingne made another unexpected appearance, also modeling a full costume worn by Ross from the seventh season of the series. The “Holiday Armadillo” was one that Schwimmer’s character donned to try and explain Hanukkah to his son, Ben.

Delevingne also broke out another memorable look from the hit 1990s show, this time from its second season that aired in 1996. The unmissable pink look — complete with a dramatic hat, voluminous skirt and satin kitten heels — was Rachel’s bridesmaid dress for her ex-fiancé Barry’s wedding.

Another recognizable face joined the show in a tribute to Ross’ most disputed pants. Cindy Crawford gave her signature strut in the exact leather pants that the character gets stuck in back during Season 5.

As if the special wasn’t star-studded enough, the show of course had to pay tribute to Lisa Kudrow’s character Phoebe and her song “Smelly Cat.” To help Kudrow perform the single, they brought in none other than Lady Gaga with a chorus to assist as they belted the humourous track from the iconic “Friends” couch.
