Cara Delevingne and Ashley Benson made their relationship Instagram official this weekend, personally confirming the rumors that had circulated for a year that they were together. The two attended the TrevorLIVE Gala last night, where Delevingne gave her first interview on their relationship. She also gave Benson a sweet shoutout in the speech she made during the gala.

On the red carpet, Delevingne was asked by E! why she and Benson went public with their romance now on Instagram. That's when she revealed how long they had actually been dating. "I don't know because it is Pride, it's been 50 years since Stonewall [Riots] happened, and I don't know. It's been just about our one year anniversary so, why not?" Delevingne said.

She demurred when E! asked if the clip meant they were Instagram official. “Sure, I don’t like the official thing, but it’s a little something,” Delevingne said.

During her gala speech, Delevingne singled out Benson, although she didn't name names. "I also have another very special woman in this room to thank and you know who you are," she started. "She's one of the people who help me love myself when I needed it most, and I really needed it. She showed me what real love is and how to accept it, which is a lot harder than I thought." She ended her speech by calling Benson by her pet name: "I love you, Sprinkles."

Benson was a supportive partner throughout the evening, sharing multiple Instagram Stories from the event. The former Pretty Little Liars actress recorded Delevingne's speech, giving her girlfriend one of her first public "I love yous". "Love you, Cara Delevingne. Proud of you," she wrote, tagging the Trevor Project.
