Per that same March 2023 Vogue interview, Cara and Minke apparently spent the model's first holiday season as a newly-sober person in Utah. “It was just the two of us,” she gushed of their time away together. “I was in bed by 12:15 a.m. on New Year’s Eve having the nicest time.”

Also during her conversation with Vogue, Cara revealed she was in the midst of navigating her first four months of sobriety following a "tumultuous year" that ultimately led to her seeking treatment and help in rehab. The star also took a moment to credit Minke for holding her accountable when she decided to make the pivot, revealing, “She’s the type of person who has boundaries, and there came a point with me when she wasn’t going to have it much longer, and it was a blessing in disguise.”
“It’s the first time I feel like I’m in a relationship not trying to rescue someone,” the model added.
