ICYMI – which, if you've opened up your Instagram app recently, we're sure you haven't – the infamous 2023 Met Gala took place just short of two days ago and ofc, we're still reeling off of the stunning beauty looks debuted.
On the main carpet (or as Blair Waldorf would say, the iconic Met steps), Cara Delevingne, for one, stepped out with a head-turning cropped grey bob. Now, as much as we loved this ethereal 'do, Miss D's beauty did not fall short of just one look. Cue: The aftermath of the afterparty...
As one does with such an exclusive event, Cara underwent a dramatic outfit and hair change that she also shared on her IG feed overnight. Staying on brand for the Met's 'Karl Lagerfeld: A Line Of Beauty' theme, the model paid tribute to the late designer, emulating his white, feathery locks; quite literally.
"Light as a feather", she writes in the caption of her post.
And as her pal, Vanessa Hudgens (caszh) so rightly puts it in the comments section, we were all "gaaaaaagged".
As ever, we have to acknowledge that this custom pixie style is *insert drum roll, here* a wig. Surprised much? OK, maybe not but the shorter cut is very on-trend this season. Lupita Nyong'o, Emily Ratajkowski and Julia Garner are just some among a fair few celebs who have hopped onto the hype of the recent pixie parade.
Alas, regardless of whether it was a one-night-only type thing (which, as we've discovered, it very much was), Karl would certainly be proud.
