A tragic accident occurred on Tuesday evening in north Minneapolis when a stolen Hyundai collided with a classic Chevy Impala convertible, resulting in the death of the Chevy's driver.

A Terrifying Incident
The crash happened around 7:30 p.m. at the intersection of N. Washington and 22nd avenues. According to officials, the driver of the stolen Hyundai had fled the scene by the time police officers arrived, leaving no trace. As of Wednesday, no arrests have been made related to the incident.
The driver of the classic Chevy Impala, who was said to be in his 40s, was taken to HCMC, where he was tragically pronounced dead shortly after. Authorities have not yet released the victim's identity.
Passenger in Stolen Hyundai Hospitalized
A woman believed to have been a passenger in the stolen Hyundai was also injured in the crash. She was taken to the hospital and is expected to recover. Like the deceased driver, her identity has not been publicly disclosed.
