'Captain America 4' Is in the Works from the 'Falcon and the Winter Soldier' Team

Captain America 4 is officially in development.
The Hollywood Reporter confirms that The Falcon and the Winter Soldier creator Malcolm Spellman will co-write the Marvel movie along with series staff writer Dalan Musson.
No word yet on the storyline or casting, but the follow-up to Captain America: Civil War will place Sam Wilson/Falcon (played by Anthony Mackie) centre stage following the events of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. Wilson was credited as Captain America in episode 6.

No director has yet been confirmed for the project, either.
All the way up to 2019's record-breaker Avengers: Endgame, Chris Evans filled the role of Captain America, but with the various incarnations of the super-soldier muscling around the original comics, the mantle could be taken up by anyone realistically. According to Deadline, recent talk of Evans returning as Cap would be in a separate movie to Captain America 4.
Evans led three Captain America films, including Captain America: The First Avenger (2011), Captain America: The Winter Soldier and Captain America: Civil War (2016), as well as Avengers and other assorted Marvel movies.

Previously discussing his final performance as Cap, the actor shared: "Everything from Endgame was really special to me because my headspace was very much in the reflective, grateful part of it.
"You almost feel like you're living in a memory; you feel like it's almost like the moment's already passed, so you're really just trying to soak it in and just appreciate what this journey has been like."
Captain America 4 has no current release date.
