Can't sleep and crave something sweet? A new 5 Points bakery has got you covered

Riverside just got a lot sweeter with the opening of a dessert shop that delivers.

Philadelphia-based Insomnia Cookies recently opened its third Jacksonville location at 815 Lomax St. in the Five Points business district. The 1,174-square-foot cookie bakery is on the same block as Taqueria CINco and Odessa Slava Ukrainian Cafe.

Known for its late-night delivery of warm, freshly baked cookies plus fudgy brownies and more sweet treats, Insomnia Cookies has a Riverside-centric delivery area.

The opening in Five Points follows the Northeast Florida debut of Insomnia Cookies in September 2019 at 4549 Southside Blvd. in Tinseltown Plaza and the opening of its downtown store in July 2023 at 41 W. Adams St.
