Even if you don't need one, this $39 Canon color printer is too affordable to pass up

Almost everything is digital-only these days. Personally, I'd rather get an email bill than a paper one — but in spite of that, we sometimes need a physical copy of something. Short of hiring your own scribe (which you can actually still do, believe it or not), you'll need a printer. Thankfully, Walmart has a compact color printer that you can add to your setup for just $39.

This little printer can hold up to 60 sheets of paper and print up to eight images per minute.

This is a pretty straightforward printer without a tons of bells and whistles, but that's not a negative — it means less potential points of failure. It's a wired printer, so you'll need to connect to it whenever you want to print something. The good news on that front is that it's lightweight, so you can move it around as needed without strain.

It has both a scanner and a copier function, so you can easily duplicate documents. This printer also has a 48-bit internal color depth, and a 24-bit external color depth. The maximum document size is 8.5 by 11.7-inches, and it has a maximum resolution of up to 4,800 x 600 pixels — in other words, you won't get professional photo prints but you can definitely whip up flyer showing off the vintage sofa you're selling.
