70 percent of U.S. cannabis consumers are purchasing cannabis to ensure they have enough to share with friends, family, and chosen family.
Of people who consume cannabis on Thanksgiving, 65 percent said it will replace alcohol.
24 percent say they are consuming cannabis on Thanksgiving to deal with family drama.
AYR Wellness CEO Jon Sandelman said that as stigmas around weed use break down, he looks forward to the day when "cannabis will be as synonymous as pumpkin pie for Thanksgiving."
