These Candy Cane Tootsie Pops Will Satisfy Your Peppermint-Loving Sweet Tooth
We don’t skimp on holiday flavors when December hits, and peppermint is at the top of our list. There’s Peppermint Crème Pie, Peppermint Baking Truffles, and Peppermint Drumsticks — and that’s just what we plan on snacking on today. The newest addition to our craze is the Candy Cane Tootsie Pop!
Candy canes are the classic way to eat peppermint, so just think of these lollipops as a twist on it. Just like regular Tootsie Pops, there’s a Tootsie Roll center. However, unlike a regular Tootsie Pop, that has a cherry, orange, or chocolate flavor, this one has a peppermint-flavored hard candy shell with red and white stripes. It gives you the classic candy cane flavor, but with a little chocolate surprise in the middle!
Little did we know that the Candy Cane Tootsie Pops have been out for years — like, at least since 2012. Maybe we’ve been too busy Christmas shopping to notice?! In any event, we know about them now, and they’re stocked on Amazon. It looks like we found another stocking stuffer to take the place of all that pesky coal that we totally don’t deserve!
