In 2020, the ‘90s babies start to turn 30, and it seems like the pull toward simpler, dial-up-era times has never been stronger. In fact, this nostalgia was the very inspiration behind Otherland's latest scent collection, the Carefree '90s.

Abigail Cook Stone, the cofounder and CEO of the cult-favorite candle brand, dubs this set of three candles "a daydreamy tribute to growing up," and crafted their multilayered fragrances in collaboration with master perfumers to fully capture the scents that defined her childhood.

The Carefree '90s collection includes:

  • Dreamlight: A dupe for the iconic Gap Dream body mist, smelling of freesia, plumeria, and tangerine.

  • Glosspop: The scent equivalent of your long-lost, favorite LipSmackers flavor, it smells of candied strawberry and rose.

  • Blue Jean Baby: Like a pair of freshly laundered, vintage Calvins still warm from the dryer, this one is a combination of washed denim, white musk, and mimosa florals.

Sold individually or as a set, all of the candles comprise a dye-free, coconut-and-soy-wax blend that burns cleanly for up to 55 hours. The candles contain no parabens, phthalates, sulfates or synthetic dyes, and the collection (along with everything in Otherland's scent library) is cruelty free.

The Otherland Carefree '90s collection is available for a limited run, so don't wait until the next Spice Girls reunion tour to add to cart!
