Candace Cameron Bure paid tribute to a very “special boy," as she mourned the passing of her Rottweiler, named Boris.

“Life isn’t the same without you 💔 Boris,” the Full House alum began in the caption of the post announcing his death.

“You will forever be with us in our hearts and memories- you brought us so much love, protection and joy,” she continued, adding, “You were such a special boy. Our hearts will never get over you. Now go run with Emma, Sydney, Gianna, Lola and Samson ❤️ my sweet Bobo.”

Cameron Bure also shared a handful of heartfelt memories in the video montage, showing Boris as a puppy when he first joined the family through his adult years, including plenty of family snuggles, adventures, and playdates.

“In loving memory of Boris,” the words on the screen read at the beginning of the video, showing Cameron Bure as she hugged Boris and gave his hind legs a little massage. The video concluded with the words “Forever in our hearts,” alongside a video of Boris running in the distance, a golden sunset serving as the backdrop behind him.

Fellow celebs poured into the comment section with sweet words to help ease the Fuller House star’s pain, with LeAnn Rimes stating, “i’m so sorry, love. there’s nothing like that heartbreak. sending you and your family comfort. ❤️”

Back in 2018, Cameron Bure defended her big dog, which she called “a beast,” stating, “Boris makes my life better because he just loves me. He loves me on my good days and on my bad days. He doesn’t care what I look like or even if I smell!”

The family welcomed Boris into the fold in March 2015, with Cameron Bure writing at the time, “Oh my goodness, Boris has arrived!!!!!!! I can't wait to get home and meet him!!!!!! ” alongside a photo of the sweet pup, making Boris roughly around eight years old at the time of his passing.
