The end is near for Fuller House, but the Netflix original series still has some loose ends to tie up before its fifth and final season airs.

Following Lori Loughlin's alleged involvement in a massive college admissions scam, Netflix reportedly axed all plans for the actress's character, Aunt Becky, to return to the show. The company has not yet confirmed how Lori's role will be written out of season five, and it seems her co-stars are in the dark as well.

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Candace Cameron Bure revealed everything she knows about Fuller House's plans for Aunt Becky-and it's not much.

"It hasn't been discussed," she said of how Lori's character will be handled. "I have absolutely no answer for it and Netflix has not even spoken about it."

Candace's update comes after she and the rest of the cast already taped the first episode of the last season, presumably without Lori present. Despite the absence of her longtime friend and co-star, the actress seemed optimistic about the direction Fuller House is headed. She promised the show's final run will be "funny" and "so emotional."

"I think [fans will be happy with the ending]," Candace said. "I mean, I'm pretty sure . . . It's like Game of Thrones, you can't please everyone. You're going to try, but I think everyone is generally going to be very happy."

Although Lori and her husband Mossimo Giannulli plead not guilty in April, they are still in the midst of an ongoing legal battle and could reportedly face up to 20 years in prison if convicted. Rumors of Netflix's decision to drop the actress came soon after Hallmark announced it was removing Lori from her ongoing series and movies. The network released a full statement about her firing, and even explained the fate of her character Abigail Stanton on When Calls the Heart. We can only hope that Netflix does the same for Aunt Becky.
