Candace Cameron Bure Delights With Photos From Couple's Trip to New York

Like many actors, Candace Cameron Bure's home base is in California, where she lives with her husband, retired professional hockey player Valeri Bure. However, they recently embarked on a couple's trip to New York—and the former Full House actress shared highlights from their getaway via social media.

On Thursday, Feb. 22, Candace took to Instagram with a carousel of photos from her and Val's recent NYC vacation. She captioned her post with lyrics from Frank Sinatra's "Theme from New York, New York," writing, "Sing it with me…it’s up to you, New York, NEWWWW YORKKKKKKK 🎶."

The main photo showed Candace, 47, and Val, 49, posing together while smiling inside an ice arena during a hockey game. For the next two spots in the carousel, the Great American Family (GAC) network star shared a photo of the NYC skyline followed by a clip of snow falling outside a window.

In another clip from the trip, Candace appeared on the jumbotron at the hockey game. She made a heart with her hands and then cheered while smiling and clapping as her name was displayed on the screen. Finally, Candace and her husband seemingly enjoyed A Beautiful Noise, The Neil Diamond Musical, as he shared a photo of the production's brochure and a shot of her and Val posing in front of the musical's poster.

Candace's followers reacted to her event-filled getaway in the comments, with one person writing, "Love this for you, two! So cute," and someone else declaring, "I need to experience a hockey game with Val. Just saying. 😂"

Another person pointed out, "I love how you made the jumbo Tron but not the ex-NHL player! 😂"

Meanwhile, yet another Instagram user marveled, "How do you look like you’re 30 still?! 😍 thanks for sharing looks like a fabulous time. Welcome to nyc! ❤"

Candace and Valeri clearly enjoyed their couple's trip to NYC sans their three adult kids. Now that Lev, Natasha and Maksim are all in their 20s (and Lev is officially married), they likely have more opportunities to travel and spend quality time together.
