Can You Believe Elizabeth Hurley Is Almost 50?
Elizabeth Hurley will return to television as a queen — a title she deserves in real life as well. At 49, her skin is flawless, body as fit as her 20-something costars, and can still wear a tight bodycon dress with the best of them.
At a special screening of her new show The Royals on Monday night in New York City, she showed up in a one-shoulder LWD with lace cut outs paired with gray heels. Can you believe it’s been more than two decades since the almost 50-year-old in June wore the gold safety pin Versace gown? Looking at her here, it hardly looks like a day has passed.
The E! scripted comedy is a fictional take on modern day monarchy with Hurley playing Queen Helena, a monarch with a royal retinue to rule over. Nothing like Buckingham Palace’s current residents, these aristocrats are kind of out of control. “It’s quite out there,” the actress has said of the show. “For me this is like sex, drugs and rock ‘n roll at Windsor Castle.”
And if Hurley’s latest red carpet look is any indication as to what to expect in the show, there’s bound to be plenty of sexy looks to lust after — and great hats, too.
