To celebrate Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall's 75th birthday, she guest edited Country Life magazine, and the cover of the issue is a portrait of Camilla taken by none other than Kate Middleton.

"We are thrilled to have our Guest Editor captured so magnificently by royal photographer The Duchess of Cambridge," Mark Hedges, the Editor in Chief of Country Life, said in a statement. "We understand this is the first time a formal portrait of The Duchess of Cornwall has been taken by The Duchess of Cambridge for a magazine and we are honoured to have been chosen to be the first to publish this beautiful photograph. The photographs are superb and we would be delighted to offer The Duchess of Cambridge another commission!"

In a new video clip released by ITV news, Camilla shared about the experience of her stepdaughter-in-law photographing her. "We had a lot of fun," Camilla said. "It was very relaxed. It was very kind the Duchess of Cambridge came with her camera, she's an extremely good photographer."

"It was all very casual, there wasn't much hair and makeup," the Duchess of Corwnall continued with a laugh. "It was just done in the garden—we had a lot of laughs, it was a lovely way of doing it."

This is not Kate's first time photographing members of her family; she takes photographs of Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis to be released on their birthdays and other special occasions.

In addition to the image that is on the cover of Country Life, the magazine also shared another shot by Kate of Camilla walking through a garden at her home in Raymill, Wiltshire:

"There are many reasons why I was delighted to be asked to guest edit this week’s Country Life," Camilla wrote in her editor’s column. "The most selfish thing being that celebrating the magazine’s 125th anniversary makes me, at 75, feel positively young… I have cherished this opportunity to highlight some of the people, communities and charities whom I have had the privilege to encounter and who do such a great deal for life in our countryside, too often unseen and unsung."

Also featured in the magazine were Camilla's rescue dogs Bluebell and Beth, wearing Camilla’s pearl necklaces. The special edition of the Country Life edited by Camilla is out today, July 13.
