These days, it’s all about mixing and matching different patterns and textures. Luckily, one celebrity is showing us how it’s done: Camilla Belle wore head-to-toe gingham and looked like the prettiest picnic you’ve ever seen.

Camilla was attending the Victoria Beckham For Target Launch Event. In essence, her outfit was simple, but if you look closely at all the different pieces, you’d see just how creative her style story was that night. While not quite a pantsuit, Camilla Belle wore patterned pants and a matching top.

Camilla makes us want to sit under a tree and read a book.

The head-to-toe gingham is very reminiscent of a picnic. Don’t believe us?! See for yourself.

If her outfit was red instead of black, we would ask Camilla to a Sunday brunch in the park.

The devil is in the details.

Because most of the attention would land on her gingham attire, Camilla Belle used small accessories that stood out.

Yellow nail polish and cool jewelry complemented the overall look and added a funky twist to the ensemble. Furthermore, Camille also wore simple makeup with just a touch of color to offset the black and while tones. Obviously, the coral color of her lipstick goes perfectly with the overall look.

But we can’t forget her shoes.

After all, nothing goes better with an outfit like a red-soled Louboutin.

If you’re looking to draw style inspo from Camilla Belle’s head-to-toe gingham ensemble, look no further. Because you don’t need to wear an all-matching outfit to incorporate the pattern into your wardrobe.

By selecting specific pieces, you can work the pattern into everything from casual every-day attire, to work clothing. Now you can feel like you’re relaxing on a field, eating potato salad, every single day.
