  • Model Camila Morrone addressed her and Leonardo DiCaprio’s 22-year age gap.

  • The Once Upon a Time in Hollywood actor met her when she was 10.

Here’s some Leonardo DiCaprio news that has nothing to do with him getting hit in the face with a volleyball and everything to do with his 22-year-old girlfriend, model Camila Morrone. As you probs already know, Leo is solidly in his mid-40s—44 to be exact—and has been dating Camila since December 2017. They get a lot of criticism about their age gap, and Camila actually responded to everyone who said it’s pretty creepy.

BTW, Leo and Camila were introduced through her stepdad and Leo’s friend, Al Pacino, when she was 10 years old. And for the record, no matter how old Leo gets, the women he dates pretty much stay the same age. In fact, he has never dated anyone over the age of 25. At least, not according to public knowledge. If you want a visual breakdown of all his high-profile relationships, someone on Reddit made this concerning graph:

So when Camila posted a photo of actors Lauren Bacall and Humphrey Bogart, who had a 25-year age gap, and wrote “a love like this” in the caption, one of her followers was like, “I can’t believe what a dork she is posting something like this. It’s obv a comparison to herself and Leo. Girl, where are your friends?? Somebody stop her.” Someone else wrote, “Leo only cares about your body” and another added, their relationship will be “over when you’re 25.” Yikes!

A love like this

Anyway, Camila saw all that and took to Instagram Stories to address all that hate. She said:

“Good morning people and happy Friday. I just read some of the comments on my Instagram and...my God, people are so mean and full of anger with people that they know nothing about. I guess I just hope on this Friday that people learn to live with a little less hatred and place their time and interests elsewhere, because living without hatred feels pretty good.”

Basically, she just said her love life is nobody’s business. Interesting!
